INVITATION to JOIN Lighting from Within - A Circle of Storytelling & Deep Listening
This circle will continue to remain open to new members.
Not to change its nature, but because presence deepens when it is shared —
and because listening is strengthened through diversity, not diminished by it.
What this circle is
Lighting from Within is a space where we sit together in connection.
We listen deeply.
We speak from lived experience.
And through presence alone, we co-regulate one another.
Nothing is fixed here.
Nothing is analysed.
Nothing is improved.
What happens is quieter than that — and more powerful.
When one nervous system steadies, others often follow.
When one body remains open, the relational field stays open.
This is not something we do to one another.
It is something that emerges when we stay present.
Physicist Dr. David Clements describes this as living energetics —
the understanding that human presence creates a relational field shaped not by ideas, but by vibration.
When we meet, we are not only exchanging words.
We are exchanging frequency.
If the body collapses, the field collapses.
If the body remains open, the field remains open.
If the body holds clarity, the field becomes clear.
Over time, I have come to trust this directly.
I no longer need anyone to “hold the field” for me.
My own nervous system has learned how to generate coherence from within.
This circle exists to support that same capacity in each of us —
quietly, naturally, without instruction.
What this circle invites
At each gathering, participants are invited to share one short story
from the seven days leading up to the circle.
The story may be about:
- a moment when you felt pulled out of centre
- a moment when you noticed yourself steady again
- or a moment that revealed something true about how you are meeting life right now
The story does not need a conclusion or insight.
It is enough to name what happened — and how it met you.
You are never required to speak.
Listening is full participation.
Witnessing
A core element of this circle is witnessing.
When a story is received without interruption, advice, or response,
something settles.
The speaker often hears themselves more clearly.
The listeners learn to stay present without taking over.
This is a relational skill.
And like any skill, it deepens through practice.
How we open
We begin each gathering by sounding OM together.
OM is not used here as a belief or a concept,
but as a frequency.
It helps the body settle.
It brings attention inward.
And it gently attunes the group into a shared field of presence.
A few practical notes
Attendance is optional.
At the same time, acknowledging messages and invitations is part of participating.
This helps me hold the space with care and continuity.
This is not a drop-in space.
If at any point the circle no longer feels right for you,
it is absolutely fine to step away — simply letting me know is enough.
What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
You are welcome to speak.
You are welcome to listen.
With warmth,
Lian
