Why I Stopped Being a Law of Attraction Coach — And Began Living by the Law of Alignment
Dear readers,
I’ve been quiet for a while, sitting with a truth I’ve carried for years—one I’m now ready to share more publicly. This piece is not just a reflection on my personal journey as a spiritual coach. It’s an invitation to anyone who has felt quietly ashamed or confused when manifestation didn’t “work.”
This is the story of Why I Stopped Being a Law of Attraction Coach — And Began Living by the Law of Alignment
I used to be a very successful Law of Attraction coach.
I was trained and certified by Christy Whitman’s Quantum Success Coaching Academy. I worked with clients from around the world, helping them visualize goals, script new realities, shift their mindset, and master energy to “manifest their best life.”
And it worked—for many of them.
But over time, something began to quietly unravel in me.
Because while I could help others manifest new jobs, opportunities, and relationships…
I couldn’t seem to manifest one thing for myself:
Becoming a multi-millionaire.
🪞 The Mirror I Couldn't Avoid
The Law of Attraction community had a clear formula:
“If you hold the vibration long enough, it has to manifest.”
So when it didn’t happen for me, despite my devotion, my training, and my best intentions—I began to ask:
-
Is my belief system secretly sabotaging me?
-
Am I still carrying unconscious blocks?
-
Am I just… not doing it right?
And yet… beneath the self-questioning, something deeper was stirring. A truth I could no longer ignore.
💔 The Real Reasons I Couldn’t “Attract” Millions
Looking back now, I see three root truths:
-
I had a buried belief that wealth = greed.
I remember once saying, “I hope I’ll never be so rich as to own a Porsche Carrera.”
That wasn’t just a joke—it was a window into my soul’s values.
I didn’t want riches that felt disconnected, flashy, or hollow. -
I lost money—real money—in financial platforms that turned out to be Ponzi schemes.
In my desire to expand and “say yes” to abundance, I ignored intuitive warning signs.
I believed in energy more than discernment. And I paid a price for that. -
I began to ask: What legacy am I truly here to leave?
Is it money? Or something more enduring—like spiritual clarity, emotional healing, and living truthfully?
Can I leave my children a clear energy field, rather than a heavy inheritance?
These reflections cracked something open.
I began to see that manifestation wasn’t the problem—but our understanding of it was.
👧🏼 My Daughter Still Gets Parking Spaces
My daughter Karen still uses the Law of Attraction all the time—and it works beautifully.
She always gets a parking space. Even in the busiest parts of the city.
She just expects it. No drama. No effort. No doubt.
And I love that.
That’s the light, playful side of LOA—the side that helps us partner with the universe in joy.
But life isn’t just about parking spots.
And when the deeper seasons of grief, failure, illness, or soul contracts arrive, “just hold the vibration” doesn’t hold up.
🌿 From Attraction to Alignment
That’s when I began to shift.
I stopped being a Law of Attraction coach.
And I began to live by something that feels truer:
The Law of Alignment.
Alignment is not about controlling outcomes.
It’s about becoming present to what wants to arise through me.
It’s not about “thinking positive.”
It’s about becoming honest.
Alignment asks:
-
Where am I out of integrity with myself?
-
Where have I abandoned my truth to fit a mould?
-
What energy is being held in my body, my lineage, my choices?
And how can I return… not to the highest vibration,
but to the deepest truth?
✨ What I Choose Now
I no longer teach people to “manifest their dream life.”
Instead, I hold space for them to hear their real life whisper back to them.
I facilitate storytelling and deep listening circles.
I write and speak not from the pedestal of success, but from the soil of experience—where grief, hope, mystery, failure, and joy all live together.
I still believe in energy.
I still believe in creation.
But I also believe in silence. In sacred pause. In the Field. In ancestry.
And in the holy truth that:
You don’t have to create a perfect life.
You only have to live a truthful one.
🌀 An Invitation to Those Who Are Wondering
If you’ve felt guilty for not “manifesting” enough…
If you’ve grown weary of feeling like your pain is your fault…
If you're exhausted from chasing “alignment” as performance...
Maybe it’s time to come home to something simpler. Deeper.
Maybe you’re not failing.
Maybe you’re evolving.
From Law of Attraction to Law of Alignment:
This is my turning point.
This is the wisdom I now walk with.
This is the legacy I wish to leave.
And maybe—just maybe—it’s yours too.
With love,
A Listening Grandmother

Let’s keep aligning with truth—together.
I find it very interesting that this is exactly what I was contemplating a day ago, and then today I came across your blog post. I am totally in alignment with everything you have said here and would love to stay in conversation around this topic with you. Way to go, Lian.
