A Six-Week Storytelling & Deep Listening Circle for Women Over 60
Especially welcoming mothers and grandmothers.
How can I help the people I care about while keeping enough money, time and energy for my own needs?
Whether it involves children, grandchildren, a partner, other family members or friends, saying yes or no is not always easy.
Sometimes someone asks for help. Sometimes we sense a need and feel we should offer. And sometimes we need support ourselves, but find it difficult to ask.
This circle gives you time to explore these experiences, tell your stories and hear yourself more clearly.
What Will You Take Away?
By the end of six weeks, you will be able to:

Recognise what influences your yes and your no: whether you want to help, or feel guilty, obliged or afraid of disappointing someone.

Be clearer about what you can offer while keeping enough money, time and energy for your own needs.

Recognise when you need support, and what makes asking or receiving difficult.

Decide what you want to do differently.
For example:
“Before agreeing to help, I will give myself time to consider what I can afford and manage.”
“If I sense someone needs help, I can ask rather than assume.”
“I can tell someone what help I need, rather than hope they will notice.”
Each woman will find her own answers.
Our Six Weeks Together
Week 1 — My Story with Money
What did I learn about money growing up? How does it affect my choices today?
Week 2 — Giving & Receiving
Do I give because I want to, or because I feel I should? How comfortable am I asking for and receiving help?
Week 3 — Money in My Relationships
When money or help is needed, what happens between me and the people I care about? Can I say yes or no honestly?
Week 4 — Where My Energy Goes
How much time, money and energy am I giving to others? What is left for my own needs?
Week 5 — What Is Asking to Emerge?
What would I like to make room for now—something I want to do, a need I have overlooked, or a change in how I live?
Week 6 — What Have I Discovered That I Want to Live By?
What have I understood about myself? What do I want to do differently?
Each woman is invited to share what she has discovered and name one change she wants to make.
Our Follow-Up Circle
Four weeks later, we meet again to share what has happened, what has been difficult and what needs further attention.
This gathering is included in the fee.
How the Circle Works
Before each gathering, you receive a Whisper—a carefully prepared written reflection with focused questions.
The six Whispers build upon one another, helping you prepare for each gathering and reflect between sessions.
On Zoom, we begin with a short grounding arrival. Each woman then has uninterrupted time to share, while the others listen without advising, judging or trying to fix anything. We close with time for reflection.
I facilitate the circle and hold its structure. You bring your experience and discover your own answers.
Sessions are not recorded. We agree to respect the privacy of one another’s stories.
Why Is This Circle Paid?
For several years, I have facilitated Lighting From Within, a free weekly Zoom circle for connection, reflection, Storytelling & Deep Listening.
Money & Relationships offers a focused six-week journey. The fee covers its preparation and facilitation, connected weekly Whispers, reflection questions and follow-up gathering.
More structure and a clearer intention—not more instruction.
Dates and Times
Begins Sunday 17 January 2027.

Morning Circle — 10:00 Copenhagen time

Evening Circle — 18:00 Copenhagen time
The six weekly gatherings take place on:
17, 24 and 31 January; 7, 14 and 21 February 2027.
The follow-up gathering takes place on 21 March 2027, at your circle’s usual time.
Please choose your preferred time when registering and join with the intention of attending the complete journey.
Group Size
2–6 women per circle, allowing time for every woman to speak and be heard.
