Confronting your deepest pain, meeting it fully, greeting it, welcoming it, embracing it completely and not shying away from any of it, needs courage. But the reward is that the pain will evaporate and dissipate into the air. All of us have the ability to presence and dissolve our own deep emotions. One of the hallmarks of true adulthood is the ability to process our emotions with an intensity of presence and without hurting someone else. Unless one learns to do this, one is forever trapped by suffering and re-cycling the same drama to elicit the same pain. Be aware of this.
